EVERY STORY STARTS WITH AN IDEA
OUR STORY BEGAN WITH THE DESIRE TO TURN A FAMILY PASSION INTO AN ENTREPRENEURIAL REALITY STRONGLY ROOTED IN THE TERRITORY AND CAPABLE OF REPRESENTING OUR VISION OF THE WORLD.
For over twenty years we have been putting our passion into the production of wines that reflect
the values and identity of our history. For us, “Muratori” means evolving every day, in the name of
continuity: this is the essence of our winery.
RICCARDO COTARELLA
Internationally renowned oenologist, he and his team took care of the new line of Franciacorta Muratori.
Valuable advice and collaboration based on sharing the passion for
Franciacorta and the love for its grapes. Together with Cotarella we want to make the most of our products, aspiring to excellence.
SINCE THE 2020 HARVEST, THE MURATORI FAMILY COULD RELY ON THE PRECIOUS CONSULTING OF DR. RICCARDO COTARELLA AND HIS TEAM OF COLLABORATORS.
A choice that inaugurated a new technical path, that also involved important investments in the
cellar. A collaboration strongly based on the shared passion for Franciacorta and the love for its
grapes.
BETWEEN 1999 AND 2002, WE CHOSE WHERE TO PLANT OUR VINEYARDS SO THAT THEY REPRESENTED ALL THE CLIMATIC VARIABILITY OF FRANCIACORTA, REACHING VINEYARDS UP TO 350M A.S.L.M. WITH EXPOSURE ALSO NORTH TO LAKE ISEO.
MURATORI HAS VINEYARDS IN EACH OF THE SIX VOCATIONAL UNITS OF FRANCIACORTA, THIS ALLOWS TO HAVE GRAPES WITH GREAT AND DIFFERENT PERSONALITIES.
In Franciacorta, the morainic hills are connected by more or less clayey fluvioglacial
and colluvial languages that draw different landscapes identified and described for the
first time with the zonation study carried out in the 90s.
OUR VINEYARDS HAVE BEEN MANAGED ORGANICALLY SINCE 2017
Bèlon du Bèlon is the label founded in 2000 by Paolo Perin as an expression of the strong passion for excellent wines, inherited from his father. Ambition is the heart of the company: to produce a wine capable of interpreting one of the richest terroir in the world in the best possible way, perfectly working only the best grapes. By managing to blend the knowledge of tradition with the most innovative techniques.
ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY
The Muratory Family manages its vineyards organically and is also energy self-sufficient thanks to its agrophotovoltaic system suspended over the vines.
The Muratori Family Estate is energy self-sufficient thanks to its agri-voltaic system suspended over the vines, built in 2011.
The solar panels are positioned 3 metres above the vineyard, protecting it from the hail and shading the plants from the increasingly aggressive sunlight. Thanks to the 2,000 square metre plant (on 55 hectares of vineyard), the company is self-sufficient without having sacrificed a single square meter of land, which in the Franciacorta area is increasingly a precious resource to be safeguarded.
