" Even though my life choices took me to Canada,
where accomplished a lot of what I had set out to, my beart remained in my place of birth, Montello.
I truly believe Neversa della Battaglia is a little gem, waiting to be discovered by the rest of the world."
THE GIUSTI
IDENTITY: WHERE
TRADITION MEETS
VISION
Ermenegildo Giusti was born in Volpago
del Montello on April 18, 1954.
His was a peasant family, his father Augusto, born in Venissieux in France, produced wine and his wife Maria Vittoria’s family also cultivated typical local grapes such as Glera, Bianchetta and Verdiso.
At 17, he emigrated to Canada with his younger brother, dreaming of becoming an entrepreneur: he began building Canadianstyle houses, but with typical Italian creativity.
Upon his return to Italy, in 2002 he founded
GIUSTI WINE.

THE GIUSTI
IDENTITY: WHERE
TRADITION MEETS
VISION
The Giusti family has nurtured a passion for wine and has tended and invested in the land with love and respect for tradition since 1600.
We have a strong bond with our local area, which is renowned for its production of great wines.
We owns over 130 hectares divided into 10 estates which lie between the land on the Nervesa plain, which was home to the very first vineyards in ancient times, and the Montello hills.
At the center is the famous Saint Eustace Abbey estate.
Quality is the company’s top priority, but it also has a strong sense of hospitality and strives to give everyone who visits its estates an experience they will not forget.
These qualities are conveyed in every glass of Giusti wine.
Besides Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Prosecco DOC, the winery uses Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot to produce the red wines of the following appellations: Montello Rosso Superiore DOCG and Asolo Montello DOC. In this last one, Recantina, an ancient native variety recently discovered, is also mentioned.
Lastly, in the classic area of Valpolicella we produce Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG and Valpolicella Ripasso DOC.

THE WINERY
Mr. Giusti’s idea was to have a winery that was a homage to Montello.
Its shape has been inspired by the ondulating profile and the many sinkholes that characterize this hill and the Ava estate in particular.
He also wanted it to be barely visible from thestreet, to perfectly blend in the surrounding landscape, and not too tall, as to avoid blocking the view of the ancient Saint Eustace Abbey.
Our new sustainable winery is perfectly
integrated in the surrounding area and goes
down to a depth of eight meters with Merlot
Khorus vines planted atop the roof.

HISTORICAL PRESERVATION:
SAINT EUSTACHE ABBEY
The spiritual heart of Giusti, this restored Abbey anchors our commitment to the historical soul of the region, connecting our production directly to centuries of Venetian heritage.
Wine is our heritage and the symbol of this knowledge is Saint Eustace Abbey. The first records we have of the Abbey date to around the year 1000, but the high point in its history was in 1549 when Monsignor Della Casa wrote his Galateo there, one of the most influential books for Italian culture.
A natural and historic treasure of the Treviso and Montello area, it has been restored to its former glory amid the vineyards thanks to a restoration project funded by Ermenegildo Giusti which took six bundred days. Open to the public, it also hosts exbibitions and events.
THE WINE PORTFOLIO:
PURITY, DIVERSITY AND PRESTIGE
The Giusti Wine portfolio is a meticulously curated collection that captures the vibrant soul of the Veneto region through a harmonious blend of historical tradition and modern winemaking excellence. At the heart of our offering lies the prestigious Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG, a wine that redefines the sparkling category with its exceptional elegance, refined depth, and distinct mineral character derived from our finest hillsides.
This commitment to territorial authenticity extends seamlessly into our selection of structured reds, led by the powerful and complex Amarone della Valpolicella and the historic Montello Rosso, both of which embody the strength, longevity, and heritage of our soils. What truly sets our portfolio apart in a competitive global market is our dedication to biodiversity and the recovery of rare indigenous varietals, such as the ancient Recantina. This provides our partners with a unique point of difference, offering an exclusive taste of history that cannot be found elsewhere.
